Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini Celebrates Modernization Milestone

Bayview Rehab Ribbon Cutting
Renovation Project Features Spacious Rehab Therapy Gym, Revamped Subacute Care Unit

Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini, a high-quality provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, today announced the completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation and modernization project that has transformed the skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.  The center celebrated the milestone during a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local health care partners and business leaders.

Bayview now features a remodeled subacute care unit with 60 beds, an elegant and welcoming lobby, and an expansive rehab therapy gym featuring a Smart car and an activities of daily living (ADL) suite.  The gym was designed to support progressive rehabilitation services that help patients regain skills before returning home.

“We are excited to be able to provide the North Kingstown community and the region with the latest in rehabilitation technology and high-quality skilled nursing care within a warm and welcoming environment,” said Norman Rokeach, President of Marquis Limited.

Located at 860 N. Quidnessett Road, the 120-bed center lies adjacent to the Quidnessett Country Club and has sweeping views of Narragansett Bay.  Bayview’s experienced care team, led by Administrator Armani Sepe, is comprised of caring and dedicated professionals who deliver personalized care on a daily basis.

Bayview’s subacute care unit offers an innovative orthopedic program led by Dr. Jason Tartaglione, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with extensive experience in general orthopedics and orthopedic trauma.

Bayview has a rich history dating to the 1960s as the Scalabrini Villa nursing home providing high-quality short-term rehab and long-term care.  It doubled in size with a new building in 1994 and transitioned to new ownership in 2021, setting the stage for the most recent renovation.

Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini provides North Kingstown and surrounding communities with the highest levels of subacute short-term and comprehensive long-term care in a compassionate and caring environment.  The 120-bed center is supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, a health care administrative consulting firm that brings industry-leading expertise aiming to enhance the overall experience of the residents and families of the facilities it services.  For more information, visit www.bayviewrehabhc.com.
